Training Program: Giving Kids the Tools for Life
The IntelliBee Parent-Teacher Training is
the ultimate support system for raising children who can easily thrive. Since
most education occurs in the home, it has been specially crafted for PARENTS
desiring to ensure their child's future, ignite their mental and emotional brilliance
and enjoy an easy joyful parent/child relationship. For HOMESCHOOLERS,
it is one of the only truly comprehensive curriculums out there, providing
the structure and guidance to guarantee their child develops to their optimal capacity
on every level; physically, emotionally and mentally. Taking advantage of
the crucial early years, we are able to easily establish much more then the foundations
of great intelligence; we establish the self-esteem and habits that lead to ease
and success in every area of life... from career and relationships, to health and

The IntelliBee® Parent-Teacher Training
Program provides:

2. Instruction on the use of the special materials uniquely designed by and/or chosen
for IntelliBee® that ensure optimal development
3. A comprehensive and real understanding of children, parenting and education that
is translatable into immediate action
4. Direction on how to effectively teach children anything and easy techniques for
making one's own materials
5. Member-only access to online community and database to develop your support network
of like-minded families and expand your knowledge of parenting and teaching via
multi-media educational resources (launch date of online participant hub TBD)

When should I take the training and what
age stages does the curriculum address?
Although the most advantageous time to begin the IntelliBee Parent-Teacher Training
is before a couple conceives so as to prepare and learn how to seize the full potential
of the irreplaceable years in development that begins the moment of conception,
our program is also attended by expectant parents, parents and teachers with children
0-6 years of age, as well as those with children in elementary through high school.
Any other family members such as grandparents and caretakers present in the family
will highly benefit from the training as well.
The curriculum addresses the following
stages:
1. Conception, Pregnancy & Birth
2. 0-1 Years of Age
3. 1-3 Years of Age
4. 3-6 Years of Age
5. Preparation and deepening what has already been learned for 6-9, 9-12,
12-15, 15-18 Years of Age
IntelliBee® Parent-Teacher Training Level
1 Details
The Level 1 Training has
two course options:
A) 9 Month Full-Immersion Course
(2 classes per week)
- 1 Theory class for parents/adults (Choice of weekday evening class or Saturday
morning class)
- 1 Playful Practice including children (1 Weekday afternoon)
The 9 Month Full-Immersion course is ongoing and parents can join at any time throughout
the year. Class schedule follows the traditional Florida academic year.
For 2011-2012 the dates are August 23, 2011 to May 31, 2012. Those who enter
after the initial start date simply complete the 9 months after summer break in
the following academic year.
Class Schedule:
Theory Class (choose 1):Tuesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30 pm or Saturday mornings
from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m.
Playful Practice class with children is on Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:15 pm.
B) Quarterly Weekend Intensives
(Four 3-day weekend intensives per academic year)
- Weekend intensives are for adults only and will include a combination of theoretical
discourses and practicum.
Quarterly Weekend Intensive dates are:
- October 21, 22, 23
- January 27, 28, 29
- March 30, 31, 1
- June 1, 2, 3

Instructors:
- Armando Elias: IntelliBee® Founder
and Academic Director, Psychologist, Biofeedback Therapist, Child Development Expert,
owner of Sunrise Holistic School & Educator. He has trained teachers, lectured
and conducted classes in the IntelliBee® Method of Education since 1970.
- Lilian Elias: Montessori Teacher,
co-founder and co-developer of IntelliBee® Education, Child Development Expert and
Owner of Sunrise Holistic School.
- Shirly Weiss: Masters in
Spiritual Psychology and Certified Holistic Health & Nutritional Counselor with
over 10 years of in private practice. VP of Education and Development for IntelliBee®.
Has been training under Armando as an IntelliBee® Instructor since 2005.
- Marianne Weiss: Clinical therapist
and social worker with over 15 years experience working with children and families.
She is a certified Listening Fitness practitioner, with years of success helping
children improve their listening, attention/concentration and learning ability naturally.
Course topics include:
• An introduction to the background, philosophy and psychology of the IntelliBee®
Method of Education
• A complete Life Cycle Curriculum used pre-conception through high school
• Preparation of new lessons for each subject for different age groups
• Presentation of subject lessons including hands-on supervised practice in
the use of the materials
• Establishing habits of success from the beginning of life
• Practical techniques to effective whole-child parenting and teaching
• Developing security and creating high self-esteem to the child
• Learning accurate observation and assessment of children, environment and
self
• The role of the parent or teacher as a facilitator
• Prenatal Parenting philosophy and techniques
• Effective whole-child homeschooling from pregnancy
• Creating children who are independent, self-taught and love to learn
• Positive approaches to developing good behavior, respect and good communication
• Parenting through the ages
• Children as Mirrors

Admissions interview:
All participants must fill out an application and meet with the Academic Director
in person (or by phone for distance participants) to discuss their goals, family
history and determine if the program is suitable for you.
Individualized Assessments and Actions Plans:
If application is accepted, participating parents or teachers will receive an individualized
assessment and action plan for enhancing family dynamics and health as well as personalized
recommendations to maximize course experience.
Leaves and Absences:
Participants are expected to attend all class sessions for the entire period scheduled.
If a participant is absent because of extenuating circumstances, it is the student's
responsibility to arrange, with the instructor, to make up any material missed during
their absence. Absence from class for any reason does not excuse the student from
completing all work assignments. A student who misses more than 10% of class time
must attend the corresponding class in the following academic year to receive certificate
of completion.
Certification:
All participants who successfully complete the course will be certified in the IntelliBee®
Parenting and Teaching Methodology Level 1. Certificates of completion will
only be given to participants with a minimum 90% class attendance and participation.
Tuition & Fees:
There is a one time registration fee of $75 that must accompany the application.
Payment options for course are described below. It is understood that the installment
payment plan is for the convenience of the student and that he or she is obligated
to pay the full tuition even if he or she fails to complete the course except as
stated in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Financial Aid is not offered.
Payment plan options:
Tuition for the course is $2,700 with three payment options:
1. One time payment of $2,500 (save $200)
2. Quarterly payments of $650 (save $100) due in August, October, and January and
April
